Moorea, French Polynesia

We went to Moore to some of the numerous trails inland that are known for spectacular views and steep climbs. What we ended up hiking was the one road around the island due to a tropical storm that closed many roads and trails in the mountains. What we discovered was that walking around the island led us to dip in the lagoon revealing abundant underwater life. Each village introduced us to friendly locals and a peaceful vibe steeped in kindness.
